I seem to have difficulty finding a rear finish mower for my b5200e. It is rated at 13hp/ 11.5 PTO and most 48" mowers require 15hp minimum. I have found a new model that will work, but as it is rather pricey I'd prefer to buy used. My question is what are the ramifications of putting a 15hp mower on my kubota? Will it damage it? Will it perform? Any help is appreciated.

I have a Patriot 48" in the back of my B7200 it's ok in most conditions and will slow down the hst when I get into a thick patch.

I have a Landpride 15-48 finishing mower I pull behind my Kubota B6100 and it doesnt give me much touble at all. It can be a bit troublesome from time to time if I'm trying to mow in thick heavy grass since my mower is side discahrge. But all in all not bad.

Thanks for the reply guys. Eric it's good to hear about your experience with the Landpride. Your 6100 is pretty close to my 5200. I anticipate issues with tall grass in the spring, but I'll just raise it up and make 2 passes- no big deal.

Yeah that kind of what I have to do, either make 2 passes or just go a little slower then usual and knock it down the first time.
