Hello everyone. I'm in the market for an L3301, with FEL and backhoe, among other attachments.

I'm about to start building a hobby farm on 20 acres. I'll be using it for brush clearing/cutting, grading, arena maintenance, hay bales, forest management, etc.

Regarding the backhoe - I have several thousand feet of trenching to perform in total(not all at once). The soil up here in the PNW is typically very rocky(of all sizes), so I question the efficacy of a ride-on trencher, plus I have no need to rush if the backhoe is available on my tractor. I have used a ride-on trencher before and know they are great, but my intent is to get some use out of the backhoe now, and in the future. Thing is though, I'd LOVE to find a used BH77 somewhere but they seem to be pretty rare. I see one or two leads in the classifieds here, but I can't contact them yet since I don't have 5 posts. :)

You can contact anyone you want, your post count shouldn't limit that. ;)
BH's are nice, and ya a trencher up here (if you have rock) can be a bit problematic.
One thing to consider is how much use you'll get out of it, if your in the snowy areas, you'll get much more use out of a snow plow and a snow blower than you will a BH, and a Mini Ex is way faster than a BH. ;)

Interesting, I tried to contact someone and I could've sworn it told me I had to have at least 5 posts. Either way, now it lets me send a PM so all is well.

I ordered a L3301 with a backhoe today. I hope to pick it up before Saturday.
