As many of you know, I have embarked on a project to install rear remotes on my B2401 tractor. I have had the pleasure of having several members here to provide lots of experience and knowledge about how to make this project work and work better than had they not provided this wealth of knowledge and experience, which honestly has made this journey so far very interesting and enjoyable. What I hope to do with this information is provide a very detailed explanation of the various parts used, the source of the parts, cost of the parts and as much as possible, I will post pictures as I do and/or complete a portion of the project. Now that I have finally ordered all the parts for the project. I will list them, the source, and price. Now I will tell you this, the price of somethings, I have seen increase just the next day after I looked at it. I have tried to compare prices between, AMAZON, Walmart, EBay and or just Google something and find a supplier. I have NO affiliation with any of these companies. So let’s get too it.
- Hydraulic Control Valve -Walmart - All-Carb 2 spools, 21gpm SAE Ports, 3625 PSI $92.37
- Fittings - Discounthydraulichose.com, ForceAmericaInc.com, Amazon, 12 fittings, $147.16 incl tax and ship
- Hydraulic Hoses - Amazon, 6 hoses, $156.50
- Quick Connect with 4 couplers and breakaway bracket, EBay, $140.16
- Top Link - Amazon, link comes with 31.5 inch hoses with male AG ball connectors, $112.18
- RH Side lift rod link, SparePartsHolland, link cones with 33.5 inch hoses with male AG ball connectors $291.00
Now I have looked at a lot of options for the Side Link and I believe that this will work the best for my need,
that being said I will have to do a modification to the link when I receive it, if interested let me know and I
will provide you with detailed information about what I did to make it work for my tractor.
As I stated earlier, I will be posting pictures and information about the entire process. I will also provide any additional information to anyone interested, just message me or ask for the group in the comments. Loo forward to getting this done and being able to get more work out of my tractor. Posting soon!
