Hi, I've just bought myself a zl2201 in 2 wheel drive. Since getting said tractor I've now realised it's a zen noh. This is not a problem to me so long as I can get any parts I may need. It's a nice tidy tractor that looks to have been well looked after. My questions are how old is it's likely to be? When was this model in production? I live in England does anyone know if it's the same drama locating parts etc or can I buy over the counter from a local dealer? Does this model have any known problems? I've read that my ZL2201 is the same as a US model L245 does anyone know if there is a Uk equivalent model if so which model would it be? I need to get a owners/operators manual etc so does anyone know where to locate said manual? I need it to find out what levers work what function on the tractor. I have used kubota's in the past but they where smaller hydrostatic transmission where as this has manual gears. What is the PTO hp for this model? I intend using this tractor in my fencing & landscaping business mainly using a post thumper & auger but would also like to use a hedge cutter/flail mower, how would I go about finding out which implement would be best suited to the size/hp of this model. Any help gratefully received. Thanks lads Stu

Stu,

You might want to get in touch with Service Dept Vic for specific questions. I am gonna say getting part WILL BE a difficult situation. Typical Kubota dealers will walk away from the counter when you mention - Zen Noh .......

however - if you need a part and that part is the same as the L245 - then mention the part # and bypass the zen name!

as for the PTO HP - seems to be about 20

Thanks for reply. From what your saying I will have the same problems getting parts hear in UK as you in the USA, if this is the case as you say call it a kubota. Does anyone know how to find out the age of the tractor? Or when this model was in production. Any help or info please

Stu,
Calling it a Kubota won't help the model number L2201 tells them it's a grey.
Asking for parts for a L245 might work, as it's not a grey.

I'll PM you a link to download the WSM for the L245, look it over and compare setup and see if that helps.

As far as being able to tell you year or years produced, Service Dept Vic would be about the only one I would know that might be able to give you a better answer.
