Probably should know this but any way, the lift lever goes from 1-8, it only starts lifting at #5. is there a reason for this, thanks for your help

I’ve got a B2650. And have the same problem. I had the dealer look at it and he said it’s a float in it and it won’t start lifting until the float moves. Not sure if that’s true. But that’s what the dealer told me

Doesn’t seem to be uncommon the 3 point doesn’t start moving immediately. So long as it goes all the way up and all the way down, wouldn’t worry about it.

And that’s what the mechanic at the dealer told me As long as it works. Don’t worry about it

It's not 100% proportional, or even accurate, or calibrated to anything.
It's just a gauge to give you some reference point as to the location of the three point arms.
The three point arms lowering or rising at any point in the numbers is perfectly normal.

There's also distance UNDER the ground. if you're running a plow or such you may go down below 5.
Also, change up your linkages on your lower arms and you'll get different results.

It's kinda like an amp going up to 11. It's one more than the others...
