Hi All, I have a B7100D older style and have a chance to pick up a L 650 backhoe. Will it fit or would it be too big? Also it’s missing the pto pump. Could it be ran as an accessory off of my front loader pump ? My front loader is a B 219.

Cant speak to fitment but you can run the hoe off the loader pump. Just requires a little new plumbing. Might also want consider bumping the pump size up if needed.

There's a spec sheet on eBay. It was designed for the L185 et al. Should be ok if you reinforce the top bracket on your tractor, use it carefully, and never let anybody else ever operate it.

A 3 point BH on that tractor is taking a huge risk of damaging it.
That BH is also much bigger and heavier than the stock optional BH that was offered for the B7100.
The stock optional BH was a subframe model BH.
It could very well be too heavy for it to even lift.

Are you sure that it is for a L185? And how did you get the information? I have an L185F and would love to get a back hoe for it. Yes even a 3 point backhoe would be better than a shovel! The soil I have is clay and sandy clay so pretty easy to dig. There are few large rocks. So I “feel” that my use would be ”gentle” on the tractor.

I looked at the optional equipment for the L185 and didn’t see this L650 as an option. I don’t see a way to find what tractors the L650 was designed for so can’t figure this out.

If it is for an L185F, I might be willing to take a road trip from Texas to Utah to see it or start some negotiations with @Ktmud to send me information or pictures if he is not interested in it!

Google 'Kubota l650 backhoe specs'. For $8, you can have the brochure.

If you are not planning on pursuing this any longer, please send a link to whatever for sale information you have. Or just say you are interested still but I would like to see pictures of what it looks like.

I have a very rough B670 BH I'd sell for $500, if you are up for a project.

3 point backhoes are never a good idea. they simply wreck tractors

We think it was modified (poorly) to fit on a larger tractor, plus it has all the usual problems from abuse & neglect that B670's usually have. (worn swing pivot pins/bushings, all the pins & holes worn)
On the plus side, I hooked it up to my B7100 before storing it, and all the hydraulics worked well, with no leaks, at least for the short duration I tested it.
I bought it as a parts hoe for my B670, but now that I have a mini ex, I doubt I'll ever need it.
This thread describes this hoe in detail, posts #106 thru #120:

Here is the complete thread covering my B670 rebuild, and others, sort of a B670 compendium, just so you can get an idea of what is involved in rebuilding one of these B670s.

If you wanted it, I can load it on a trailer pretty easily; my B7100 and my mini ex are both currently down, but at least 4 of my neighbors have tractors.

Looks like you're about 10 hrs from the tractor.... road trip!
