thanks, something happen as i had finished shreading and came in for lunch and when i went back out and started the tractor it was runnng 2000 rpm's and i could not lower it, i think something under the hood on the throttle is the problem

40 series is the last of DPF free I believe.

Id check throttle linkage and make sure something didnt vibrate loose.

i found the problem the throttle rod has slipped and is to long not letting it reb down under 1500 rpm's so now what i do not know is do i adjust it under the dash or under the hood

It looks like the adjustment is under the dash. ;)
