The wife and I bought 22 acres of land, about 14 acres of it is pasture and the rest wooded. Our new house is in the process of being built and we decided we needed a good tractor to help us maintain the property. We did a ton of research for about 4 weeks, considered several brands, and narrowed it down to just one tractor... a 2017 Kubota B2650 HSD. We got a FEL with the SSQA bucket, a RCR1260 rotary cutter and the QH15 quick attach for 3 point implements.

We shopped our 3 local Kubota dealers (all are great) and bought from the one who gave us the lowest price, $400 less than the other 2 dealers. Yes, we know we could have gotten a L2501 for about the same price of a B2650, but we prefer the size and features of the B2650. We plan to also get a box blade, pallet forks, and a landscape rake but didn't really need to buy them right now.

Anyway, we wanted to introduce ourselves and we hope to learn a lot from these forums. Merry Christmas to all of you and may God bless you.

EDIT: Pics will come after I take delivery in January 2018.

Congratulations on your new purchases and welcome to the forum. I know that you will enjoy learning to use that new tractor and implements on your new property. As stated in another post, we love pictures. You may not be able to post pictures before you get a few more posts on the forum but when you hit that post thresh hold, I hope to see many pictures.

I have a similar tractor except I got the cab model for snow time. This is one of the first purchases where I have not once looked back, the only thing I would have changed is the radio since it is not blue tooth. It does everything I have asked so far, I think you will enjoy working with it. If you do your own service you can find all kinds of info on the forum, first 50 hour is important.

congrats man.

I'm still getting used to mine (arrived a week ago). The new 2650 feels huge compared to my BX23 that I had for 12 years. Gonna take some time to get used to it.

Enjoy.
