Hey Guys, My first time posting here. I have a 90's B6100 tracker and my hydrostatic drive pedal sticks both ways. I greased it real good and worked it many times and still no good. It doesn't feel or sound real smooth when working it either. Is there a bearing inside thats gone bad or something more serious?

Thanks

Jeff

I'm not familiar with your particular tractor but HST pedals are supposed to self-center. This is usually accomplished by a spring (or two) under the floorboard.

You might check to see if something is broken, missing, or is causing the spring to not function.

Look for gunk around the linkage as well that will bind it up too

Hi
I have my B7200 dismantled at present and may be able to help.
The pedal goes on to a shaft {rotates on two bushes) and then to a triangular plate which is inside and under the cover.
Three linkages are connected to the plate and these linkages are generally loose. Some are spring loaded.
If you put the pedal both neutral and a stuck positions and feel these linkages with a screwdriver or your hand you may have indications of which (if any) of these linkages and their end devices is causing the problem.
Bushes mentioned above sometimes cause problems and keep in mind that one of these possibly the outside one needs investigation.
Hope this is understandable and of help'
Cheers

Hey Thanks guys, found the problem. There's an arm underneath that has a roller bearing in the middle and a spring on one end. The piece that is supposed to contact the roller bearing, sorta "V" shaped plate, was off to the side. All I had to do was pry a little to get the roller back on the "V" plate. Must be some extra play in it somewhere for it to come off. I'll have to see what is causing that.

Thanks
