I checked my hydraulic dip stick on my tractor and noted the milky hydraulic oil in it so I plan on flushing it all out and changing my filters and replacing the oil. How does water and contaminants get in there ?? Any ways to prevent it ? Thanks
You defiantly have water in there, not good!
Is your machine left outside? If so - various ways moisture can get in there.
If not left outside......then it must be condensation and this too would be a problem, but much harder to get into the works, unless the dipstick was left out, or the suction line had a small crack in it.
Need to drain, and then maybe fill and DRAIN again, not good on the pocketbook for sure! Change filter both times too!
