Hi,

I have a bx23s and I'm going to be using a 60" UTV snow plow on it and I'm thinking of adding a hydraulic top link as an angle actuator.

Has anyone done this? Any advice (including why I shouldn't)?

Thanks!
Jeff

If it works for you go for it. Do you already have the hydraulic top link that you want to re-use? If you are buying something, just get a cylinder that has the bore and stroke you need, might be cheaper than a cylinder made to fit a top link.

Sounds like a good idea! Since you are making the mounts they can be located to make use of the stroke to fit whatever angle you want the blade to work at.

I think it’s a great idea.

I also think a “generic cylinder” would be a less expensive route as well. (unless you already have one…..obviously;))
