Hydraulic shuttle

I have a M9540 and it appears that I need to adjust the hydraulic shuttle cables, also I have been told to remove the lower boots on the cables. Has anyone dealt with these issues and any advise would be welcomed.

There is a common issue with these shuttle cables on the M40 series tractors. There is a new cable available from Kubota that has a boot on it to keep water from getting in. They would commonly freeze up in cold temperatures. The new cable is a bit longer and Kubota recommends rerouting the cable to make the bend not as sharp. If you contact a local dealer they should be able to print out the bulletin for you and it has pictures on of the new routing.
