I have a L175 and the rear lift isn't working. When I use the lever to raise or lower the 3 pt I feel and hear chattering, but it does seem like it's trying to pump. Someone prior to me has taken the geared shaft that the arms hook to out. It is put back in temporary right now, so I know that needs to be reinstalled right. What else could be the problem? Should the fluid be kinda murky white? This is the last thing to do to my tractor to get in full working condition. So any help would be greatly appreciated. I wish I had a diagram breakdown of the mechanics of the 3 pt hitch area. Thanks, Tommy
