I need to replace the hydraulic hoses, but my local Kubota dealer is unable to find the right pipe thread for the tractor.

I am unsure if you have a question but will answer what I think you may be asking.

On the tractor itself most of the hydraulic connections will be a parallel thread hole that requires a sealing washer under the fitting. The threads are called BSPP threads and are in inch units since they originally were British threads.

On the valves the threads are probably another type of parallel thread port but they are SAE ports. They also require a sealing washers and are inch sizes. The threads pitch is different than BSPP if my memory is correct.

The hoses may be NPTF threads but I would recommend changing the hose ends to be JIC female swivel ends so they seal well and can be easily removed when needed.

A hydraulic hose shop should also sell adapters to fit the port thread and adapter to the JIC thread.

See this link and select the thread and end connection identification guide for how to try to identify the thread types and sizes.

@Potton it could help to know which hydraulic hoses you refer to. Some owners have replaced steel lines with hoses, so its hard to be certain what you are referring to.

@Russell King has pretty much summed up, but one thing to confirm: on the M4500DT (smaller model than yours but same model series/vintage and shares a lot of parts) the valve ports (valve/s on RHS below operator's seat) are metric parallel thread. If your dealer can't figure out the threads then their technical ability is sadly lacking.

Welcome to the forum and do keep us informed :)

The AUX valve ports are some sort of parallel thread with oring/washer seaL Top possibilities are SAE ORB, BSPP, or Metric ORB.

Pick up a caliper and measure the OD of the male thread on the end of the hose. Adapters for all of those threads are readily available.
