I think I need a new hydraulic pump for my L3750DT. Does anybody know what or where the part number is? Also, if it's re-buildable??

Thanks,
Kevin

No, I haven't done a pressure test. I don't have a tester. Changed the fluid and filter. Power steering and shuttle shift seem to work fine. Loader is super slow and will only operate at high RPM's.

How long AFTER the fluid change did you allow it to run? Might be air in the system........run it around a while (20 minutes) CHECK level of fluid again, and see if it "clears" up.

I have run it for quite awhile. It was slow and weak before the fluid change. Thought that might fix my issues, but it didn't. It took awhile to get the air lock out. I don't want to get a new pump, but I think I"m going have to.

Seeing now that is was a problem before.........do what Kenny says ......find out what kindda pressure you are getting.....that will tell the story. I wonder if that Pump can be rebuilt.

Three point isnt all the way up or down , causing
Pressure problem? Or am i way off base.
The 4610 loses power if 3 point is under any kind if load

Like everyone says test before replacing!
Check these first:
Does the three point work fine? If it does it's not the pump!
If the three point doesn't work then the problem still may not be the pump it could be a relief valve on the tractor or the spool valve, or a bad loader spool valve bypassing fluid.
The power steering and the hydraulic shuttle work off a different side of the pump (2 part pump) than the loader and the three point, so those should work even with a bad second section.
A simple test with a gauge might save you a great deal of $$ and hassle!
also finding a local rebuilder might save you some $$ too over a strait replacement.

There are 2 different pumps depending on your model:

Manual shuttle shift:

The three point seems to work fine, the arms go up and down. I haven't attached anything to them yet. I've only had this tractor a couple weeks. I will attach something to it and see if they will lift a load. I'm also tracking down a tester so I can check my hydraulic pressure........before I replace the pump.
Thanks everyone.

If the 3 point lift a load normally, that's too say at normal spec range and normal time, few seconds, then 100% it's not the pump, filter, or fluid, then your problem is in the loader cylinders or loader controls! ;)

Ok, did the pressure test. Only 1,000 PSI. So I'm assuming it's the pump. Is there anything else to check first? I haven't attached anything to the 3 Point lift arms. I was thinking about putting a bale spike on and lifting a big bale of hay. Is there any adjustment on the hydraulic pump?

Thanks again for all of your help.

Yes try the spike!
Where and how did you test the pressure?
An open relief valve will cause pressure drop as it will just let fluid free flow, so it's still not conclusive that it's the pump!
How is the loader valve connected to the tractor? Is it connected to the block in hydraulic high pressure line on the side of the tractor?
Is the 2 or 3 lines in and out of the loader (not including the 4 for operation)?
If there is only 2 lines then all pressure has to go beyond the loader valve (skip to the main relief valve) , if it has 3 then there is the possibility that the spool valve is bypassing fluid and that is the cause of low pressure.
On the side of the Speed change case there is a pressure relief valve and if that is stuck in the open position you will not have pressure either.

Tested the pressure before the loader spool valve. 2 hoses go to the loader spool. 1 in and one out. Tested both of those. Those two hoses do come from the side of the transmission, right after the valve that you pictured in your response.

I will check that valve and still try to get a bale spike on and test the lift arms.

Thanks a million!

I put a bale spike on yesterday and tried to lift the back end of a flat bed trailer. Wouldn't lift it at all. I guess I will order a hydraulic pump today. :(

Is there anything else that I will have to replace when I replace the pump? I don't want to screw this up.

Ugg that does not sound good.
Maybe try and find a local rebuilder before you spring for a new one.
At least then they could test it too just to make sure it is a bad pump.

On some kubotas there is a control that needs to be moved
When installing loader. A valve of some sort near the hyd filter.
I noticed it in the operators manual for our 4610
This may not apply in your case.

Sadly no valve on his model of tractor just a simple junction block. ;)
