I need help finding where it is that you check your hydraulic levels as well as where to drain the hydraulic system. Can anyone help me? I have been under it from one end to the other, followed the lines every which way and can not find anywhere to check the level or drain it out. I have a M4700. I am not by any means a tractor mechanic but I am not incapable of doing some simple service procedures myself. I thought this would be one of those simple procedures-but I am stumped.

Not exactly sure on your model. My 9000 has a dip stick at the 3pt lift for the hyd oil. Some will just have a site glass on the tranny.

Drain plugs, probably has 3 or 4 of them. Most likely one right under the floor board on the bottom of your tranny. Maybe one where your front drive shaft comes out of the rear end and probably 2 on the lowest part of the rearend on either side.

Old thread but.... the dipstick for checking hyd fluid level is on the floor, just forward of the seat, below the 3-point control knob.
