Last few times I've used my tractor, the fill cap has been like this....

I have no real idea but I would guess its got something to do w/pressure, somethings not venting properly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks much...Don.

This photo is cropped from your last photo. The black tube (Iassume) is the vent tube. I put yellow highlight on it just to be clear. They may be just a question mark shape or some tractors have tubes routed to high spots. Since you don’t say what tractor you have I can’t look into the illustrated parts list to see how your tractor is done. You can add equipment lists to your profile and that is very helpful for getting the best information possible for your questions.

You can look at the illustrated parts list here https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/

You don't list your tractor model in your profile.... hard to tell. Also, not sure where you live so I don't know if you might have mud daubers or solitary bees that can plug up the vent...

My older standard "L" the vent is under the seat. Rubber curly "Q".

I knew there was something I needed to add(embarrassed grin).

2004 B7610 w/1700+ hours.
I live in McHenry county, Ill-noise where this December has been much colder, snowier, than normal.

Thanks for the parts link. I'll take a look, see what I can find.

Appreciate the help from you, from Old-n-tired...Don.

I forgot to say that vent may be plugged up and can be cleaned out if needed.

If it is the short style just remove it (I think it is just plugged into the hole) and run a wire through it or soak it in water or cleaner if needed.

I have no idea what type of bugs like to build nests in small holes in your state but here there (Texas) are dirt daubers, bees, spiders that love to plug them up. Some people put some type of barrier around the vent (screen, sock, finger from a cotton glove).
