HST pedal not centering

Ok, so 3 years of great service (MX 5100) and today in the woods I believe something got me from below, my HST pedal no longer self centers.....whats missing ?? Of course not spending much if any time underneath this tractor a quick look underneath and nothing jumps out at me ?? Any ideas

Welll it could be frozen gunk,, have you greased the thing at all? Clean everything thats on and around the pivit point,, find the fitting and give her a shot or 2 and see what happens that is the most common problem,, And on some mdls I believe there is a centering spring as well though I dont know what you might have had on yours

There may be a return spring that was knocked off its peg. The spring draws the pedal mechanism into a vee-shaped flange which holds it to center. On my B21 it's hard to get at. Might be easier on yours, if that is the problem.

Thanks Wolfman, looks like I have a bent pin and a couple of brackets a bit out of alignment.....think I'll be looking up some parts this week....
