Hello fellow orange fans.
I have a L5740 with 3400 hours. Brilliant tractor for what I do.
It has started to throw up error code 92 (hi-lo solenoid problem) when the hydraulic oil gets hot after about one hour of light work. After it has cooled everything is normal again. Oil is Kubota product and has done 100 hours.
Putting a hand on the hydraulic filters tells me that the temp is about the same as engine oil filter, but of course I don't know if that's normal or too hot.
I'm thinking the problem is something worn in the solenoid, or something else causing temp to rise too high.
Previously this error code has been the result of a stick ripping out the solenoid wire, but wiring is intact. I haven't rejected the possibility that an electrical connection fails with temp then reconnects once temp comes down.
Any thoughts?
Mike
