Hi - I recently purchased an unused Hydrostatic Transmission from someone who bought it for their Kubota but never got around to fitting it.
From trawling the net it externally looks like the unit fitted to the G5200 and G6200 range
First question : are these the same unit or how could I tell which model it is from ?
Second question : there appear to be 2 different controls that were attached to it and I have worked out the linkage pointing forward is the F/N/R direction control, and I presume its proportional, so how far it moves relates to the output speed ? There is also some sort of control rod that links to what looks like a diaphragm on the opposite face to the input - what is it for or what does it normally connect to ?
Hopefully someone can advise so I can start fabricating the mountings for it and complete my calcs. for the rest of the drivetrain.
