Do not have delivery of my used B2650HSDC yet, but with bad knees, think I will have to add a outside grab handle to the left cab pillar, lower than the one inside.
I downloaded the PDF parts , looks like a hose is inside both front pillar posts.
Could these be the heater supply and return lines to the heater core in the headliner ?? If I drill and tap into the Cab post to mount a RV type grab handle, don't want to muck that up. Would put a drill stop collar on the bit, tap, and short fastener.
May also need to double up on the steel entry step as well. An Orange owner kindly posted his step is 16." off the earth. The old Ford 1910 I'm replacing, fab'd a custom step off the backhoe subframe years ago, to get up. Getting old challenge to keep on keeping on.

There is a hose routed through each of the front pillars but they are drain hoses for the AC and are open to the ground. They are pretty loose in the pillars so you should be fine drilling. If you wanted to be safe, pull the roof off and pull the hoses up before you start drilling.

The coolant and AC lines are routed up over the rear wheel wells and up the rear pillars behind the trim. Picture of mine with the hoses loose when I was repainting the floor.

AWESOME REPLY !!!!!!!!!!! In the parts list there was a drain hose called out going towards the rear, from the A/C plenum. I assumed these could be the coolant. Excellent Pic !! Also adding a Front & Rear LED Light Bar from Paul Short, Newfoundland, Canada. Now I see the path to route the 12v. better to follow the OEM path along the plastic convolute tubes to the fuse block. When my rig shows up, then figure out the OEM dash switches to get. As mine is a B2650, no re-gen, so some dash plugs to put switches in for the lights.
Pic attached of one of Paul's many Kubota Mod's he sells.
