I am trying to replace wiring behind the gauge and light switch panel on my B8200. I have removed the two bolts on the underside of each side near the front corners. Something seems to be still holding and I cannot see what it is. Does anyone know what I am missing? Thanks.

There is a youtube video of someone doing it to a 8200, which should still work for us. I'm in the same boat as you with my 8200 and a tach cable.

Here is the video:

Ron the video was a big help. My B8200 has a speed control box hanging under the front bottom of the dash panel so I could only see the two hold down bolts on the sides underneath. Apparently there are two more bolts underneath in the front. I will investigate further on how to get to them...Thanks

I know this is an old thread, but I found it on a search and maybe the next person will too.

That video was helpful to see how things come off. I installed a toggle switch for some ROPS lights and put it through the optional horn hole in the dash. The next step to really get the dash off is to remove the steering wheel.

the triangular plastic cap on the top of the wheel pops off by pulling out. There's a 17mm nut holding the wheel on, and I used a cheap gear puller to pull it off.

I put it back together and I think it was just the two bolts on the bottom, either side coming up vertically. I also took the chance to clean the parts in an ultrasonic cleaner
