Newbie here, so looking for answers. New Betstco Boom Sickle Mower, getting it assembled. Do I use the hydraulic remote with a float detent or the one with no float detent? Also, it does not appear to have any hydraulic fluid in the mower. How best to introduce fluid and bleed? Any help appreciated.
Thx, Rooster

To start with the Betstco manual says it needs 8 to 11 gpm of hydraulic flow.

The spec's I find for your tractor (L3300) say total output of the hydraulic pump is 7 gpm.

Also the 7 gpm would be a max engine rpm.

Your BX24 has 6.8 gp, of flow.

If you used the remote with the float detent and put it into the float position there would be no flow to the mower any time the valve were in the float position.

I expect they ship the unit dry so it starts with the hydraulic fluid your tractor uses and does not contaminate the tractor oil by having some strange oil within the mower components..

These systems will self bleed. Check your tractor fluid level shortly after turning on the mower.
