How to Check a Dynamo on a B7200D

I have a B7200D Kubota, I had a low battery and I check the battery with the tractor running and it was 11.78V.
How can I tell if the Dynamo is bad? How can I check the voltage regulator is bad?

from my aging memory....
disconnect the 2 blue(?) wires of the dynamo from the rect-regulator, attach to AC voltmeter, run engine, you should get 30-40 volts AC.
