I’m doing an oil change on my “new-to-me” Kubota G5200 mower. The manual calls for 3.2 qts. of oil in the crankcase. Does that mean 3.2 qts. with a filter change also?? I am going to change the filter, but the reason for the question is that the rubber dipstick stopper has moved and I’m going to re-glue it. I’m going to use the oil level to reset the stopper. Thank you kindly. Semper-fi & This We’ll Defend, Mike

3.2 qts. is the initial fill of a dry engine. Just under 3 qts. with a filter.

For the stopper on the dipstick, I've used JB Weld. Have the dipstick clean and locate the stopper where you want it, then wrap some duct tape around the outside of the stopper as a dam. Set the dipstick in a vice to hold it for a day or so, and put the JB Weld in the form. Don't really need very much.
