Most of what we stock that is quick attach is from HLA. We would not sell them if we had customers complain about them! Great quality, no problems except with bale spears, but the main spear is common for breaking on any make.

I really didn't know much about pallet forks when I got mine. I told my dealer over the phone when I bought my tractor I wanted pallet forks. So when my tractor was delivered. That's what showed up. I have had them four years. I load and unload tractor trailers here with my welding business many times a week, so they get used. No issues, I would buy and recommend them .

WFM,

From your attached photo it looks like the fork's structure is bent up - is that not correct?

WFM says, " I have had them four years. I load and unload tractor trailers here with my welding business many times a week, so they get used. No issues, I would buy and recommend them."

If you're thinking that bent bar is a sign of low quality you need to consider how and how much you will be using the pallet fork.

If you're using them in a business application as WFM is, and as often as he is, that bent bar is as significant as a tear in your seat cover after 4 years of industrial use!

What I see in the photo is structural damage and THAT is "significant" as this shows poor quality, especially if he is within the load limits stated by the manufacturer.

Now if he's lifting at one end of a fork with a chain, etc. or bent the frame by some other use than it was designed for then that doesn't reflect on the manufacturer's quality.

Maybe WFM will tell us how the bending happened.

If your referring to the area circled in the photo - that is not really structural. It's part of the "guard" and would not be an issue regarding the operation of the forks. If you're not talking about the circled area, I don't see what your seeing.

Maybe WFM will post back and tell us what is bent and how it happened, whether is was from lifting or something else. I think the one he shows is rated #2,000; the one I referenced is #4500.

Anyway, this is now a moot point for me - I went with the Bobcat brand.
