Hitch on my Z121s mower

My mower has the factory “hitch” on it. This is just the short lip that allows me to hook anything that used a vertical pin to the back. I’d like to either put a 2” ball on it or maybe even a 1 1/4” receiver on it so that I can remove when not needed. That way I can put the hitch kit on my small dump trailer and not have it rattle around as much when I’m in the yard. I don’t see anything online that is made to fit my mower in the way of a receiver mount and the holes in the factory hitch are way to small to drop a ball through it. Any ideas? I’m sure the factory hole could be drilled out, but I have nothing that size in the way of a bit.

Something similar can be found at Lowes, Home Depot, ect in lawn & garden department. Menards may have something in automotive with trailer hitches.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it used a standard ball that needs a larger hole. I’ll keep looking at some of the locations you listed though - thanks again.

I have a Z421 and mounted a 2" receiver hitch, I used the 2 holes right and left of the pin hole, I enlarged the holes a little.
I needed the hitch to be much lower for some items I needed to tow.
