I have a BX 2200 with a 54 inch deck. I am using a tow behind leaf vacuum and it picks up a lot but also leaves some leaves behind making it necessary to go over the lawn multiple times. Could a high lift mower blade help? Is there such a thing? (Please don't suggest the dealer) I believe the three blades are 18 inches each. I am also trying to attach a Kubota GCK60 23BX Vacuum to my BX2200 but I am not having much luck mating them up. Thanks

I have hi lift blades on my old riding mower and they do create quite a bit of suction compared to my zero turn, which I assume is not hi lift, as it does not seem to be the same. My mower with hi lift blades creates so much "flow" I have to be careful over graveled areas, as it will pull up the gravel. My zero turn is nowhere near as likely to disturb the gravel if I skirt the edge of my gravel driveay.

So, yeah, I think hi lift blades will be better at picking up leaves than blades that are not.

Yes ,there is a HUGE difference in regular vs highlift blades!!! Have a rider with basg, someone replace the hilifts with regular, rider left grass all over the lawn,I put highlifts on, NO grass left onthe lawn...

There is a big difference between high life, short tail and high lift long tail blades. Here's a video that explains it fairly well. Start at about 4:30.
