Hi All. I've been lurking for a while and picking up some good information. I live in Perth Western Australia and have a small property of 8 acres.

I've have a little Zen-Noh L1501Z, had it for about 8 years and it has never missed a beat. But there comes a time to upgrade, so I've just put a deposit down on a L3200HST. Getting cruise control, industrial tyres, LA524 loader fitted so I should have it in about 2 weeks when it gets here from the East Coast.

I was looking at the B3300SU, but I wanted a suspension seat and an engine with a water pump. I looked at a Case IH Maxxfarm 35, Kioti CK35 & the John Deere 3038E but every one of them had downfalls.

The tractor is primarily for the wife, she loves getting out on the tractor and slashing etc, so the L3200HST seemed to tick all the boxes. My only concern is that it may be a little bit big. The B3300 was the perfect size for her, but just didn't have all I wanted. Unfortunately there were not any local that I could have a look at.
The deals done now so I guess she'll get used to it.

Anyway, thankyou for the information that I picked up before joining.

Stay safe.
Dave

Welcome to OTT! She will quickly grow to love it, if it works upside-down (Har har!).

Welcome!
I'm sure she'll do just fine on the new tractor. My wife does well with my Grand L and she's only 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. The seat and the steering column adjust.

Welcome and congratulations on your new tractor. My wife's tractors are a couple of BX's, but like Kingcreek's wife, she is comfortable on our Grand L.

I thought the same thing- that the B3300SU was the 'right size', and really, the L3200 is very, very close in 'size': same size rear tires; L3200 is slightly wider, a tad longer. However, the L is much heavier.

Having just shopped these same two tractors myself, the clear winner for me was the L3200. It just feels more substantial (b/c it is) . I thought the operator platform was easier to work; I like the position control (vs quarter-inching); I like the 3cyl vs 4cyl; heck, I even like the sound of the L3200 better.

I can't imagine trying to buy a tractor of this size without getting to see/touch/drive one.

In my opinion, you have chosen well.
You (and your wife) will not be disappointed.
