Help with my 2360 front axel question

I don't have a manual and should get one. So forgive the first grade question. There is an orange cap on the front axel of my bx2360. I've attached a photo. I have never opened it or serviced it. I decided to look today and could not figure out how that orange cap comes off. It turns but does not seem to be unscrewing. Since I have a nasty habit of breaking things I thought I would ask.

What is this orange cover for. If I take it off what should I look for and what is meant to be put in it.

I am not familiar with your model...but my 'guess' would that is a 'breather' or vent cap for the axle.

it's just a press fit but be CAREFUL when you pull it off ! It'll come off PDQ when you don't think it will and you'll need 3 or 4 bandaids.......

On my BX2380 it's the fill hole & dipstick for the front axle.

You’ve gotten solid advice regarding it being a friction fit plug.
