Help me get it started!

My family has a Kubota G5200 HST lawn mower. It is 20+ years old. It stopped starting a few weeks ago. i have tried to start it using a jump starter, but all it does is cycle 2-3 times per second and doesn't start. Please help!!!

Check you battery cable ends and wiggle the cable a bit over it's whole length feeling for corroded spots. Do both the positive leading to the starter and the negative cable. Failing that it's probably something with the solenoid.

What have you checked? Do you have fresh diesel fuel? Do you have a clean air filter? Do you have good fuel flow at your fuel filter? Clean fuel filter? Do you have good fuel flow up to your injection pump? Do your glow plugs work? You need to fill in a few more more blanks here ------------------

Did it run out of diesel when it quit ? Then it will need bled to start.

I was assuming by cycling you meant the solenoid was cycling clicking. Do you mean that or the engine is turning over?
