I'm trying to change the blades on our G5200 and i can't find out whether the threads are Right or left. Which way do they loosen?

Turn to the left should be loose, old saying lefty loosie righty tighty! Might have to take something substainable to break the bolt loose from the deck like a breaker bar or and impact wrech.
I'm not familiar with your mower, but in general if the blades rotate clockwise (when viewed from above) the bolts that hold them on will be right hand thread. If the blades rotates counter clockwise, the bolts will be left hand threads.

Thanks for the help. See if i can get it loose now. I didn't want to strip the thread going the wrong way.
