Help finding a complete boom cylinder for Kubota BL4590 backhoe attachment, oem or aftermarket

Hello,

I'm looking for a replacement Boom Cylinder for a Kubota bl4590 backhoe attachment. Its the old version in Kubota USA parts list. Kubota says the part is discontinued. The part number is 70050-93780. The rod on mine is bent. Curious if anyone has replaced theirs with a aftermarket and what the info would be . I'm told not a good idea to straighten out the rod and agree with the rational. Would like to go complete replacement route, if possible. Live in massachusetts. thanks

Well, these guys carry the bucket cylinder. Maybe they could point you in the right direction.

Might be possible to take it to a shop that rebuilds cylinders and get a replacement. If you can get precise dimensions any cylinder shop should be able to build or source one.

Very common for hydraulic shops to replace the rod. They have the rod material in stock and custom make what you need.

Great advice, local hydraulic shop here replaces Chrome rods on a regular basis, not inexpensive however.
