headlights not working b1750

Yesterday went out to plow garden and as it became dark, turned on headlights on b1750 and only the instrument panel lit up. Flashers work, but no headlights and bulbs are fine. Where do I start trouble shooting. I'm not bad with most mechanic work, but I'm weak on electrical issues.

Check your fuses.

check the plug between the engine compartment and the hood

check the ground

duck tape a couple flashlights to the hood instead if all else fails? (always my fall back option)

Thanks guys, I'll try both and see what I find. I like the flash light idea. I could also put 2 or three on the rops multiple directions and intensity.
