I spent Saturday afternoon unloading two semi loads of big square silage bales with my 2000 M9000.

The next day I noticed that the tractor steers a bit harder than usual. I think that the power steering is working somewhat, but it sure turns harder than normal.

Oil levels are good, there seem to be no obstructions to the motion of the front wheels, all other hydraulic functions work, no leaks to be found.

An ideas?

Thanks,

Keith-

The items I would check:

Steering cylinder
Steering pump output
Hoses
Front axle grease

The last item is the easiest to check/remedy but the first item may be the most likely. If the piston seals are leaking you would have decreased hydraulic force but not see fluid like if it were the cap/rod seal.
