Can a L2501HST handle a Landpride FDR2584 mower for a soccer field?
I was running that same mower on my L3901 and it would struggle at times so I don't think it would be a good match for your tractor.

I'd imagine a soccer field gets mowed frequently and doesn't get very tall. I'd think if that is the case, your tractor would handle it.

I agree it should be fine considering that grooming mower is rated for 15-60 HP by Land Pride.

I'm not sure why a 39 HP tractor would have an issue with an implement that's rated for 15-60, but maybe he was mowing really fast or mowing taller wet grass.

Fwiw, my L2501HST will mow with a RCF2072 which is about the same weight.

HST is your mowers friend. We routines mow lawn, berry patch and orchard with a B26 and 6’ finish mower.

I got the 6 footer yesterday for my B2601 and it works like a charm. First mow of the "field" of the season so it was getting up to the top of my work boots. Was pleasantly surprised what I could cleanly cut on the first pass in Medium range at full pedal. Also love the way it is wider than the tractor. Easy to trim right up to things.

I hope that comparison to a lot smaller tractor and slightly smaller mower helps inform your decision.

Advice from my purchasing experience: Ask the dealer to please demonstrate that all the gauge wheels spin around (on their yokes? not sure what that is called) and roll freely, that there is oil at the correct height in the gear box, and that all the zerks take grease and are full. Ask me how I know? LOL.

I think it will work also…soccer field is flat. I have a low power tractor @ 23hp and only hills tax the engine while mowing with a 60” mower.
