First tractor L3302...not even delivered yet. What protective items like a grill guard would also be recommended and what are the better brands??? Thanks in advance.

I knocked off my fuel filter relatively quickly, so I would vote for filter guards if its a similar layout to the L2501. (i.e. fuel, hyd, HST)

I have no idea on brands though, I fabbed them myself.

Grindstone has a good list.

I have grill guard and filter guards on my L2501. I can't say I've ever needed them, but then again, I haven't had any damage. I felt like it would be a real problem to bust any of those parts that they protect and better to add them before I broke anything.

👆 since you can't see the hydraulic filters on mine,

I was worried that Murphy had a sharp stick with my filters name on it, and the only warning I would get

would be the pump running dry before I noticed anything. (Not a good idea)

I'm probably over thinking it, but they were fun projects, so there's always the entertainment value too.
