I have only found 5 zerks . Are there any other grease points including zerks I should know about?

The five I have located are: break pedal, clutch pedal, two for the front axle support and one for the lifting rod. The speed control pedal does not appear to have one because the operating mechanism for it is different or am I just missing it?

Thanks

Thanks, it is appreciated. The initial maintenance at 50 hr. was done by the dealer. I am now at 100 hr. and attempting it myself.

Are you just going over the tractor or are you doing another 50hr service? I believe in changing oil but as far as hyd system goes it probably isn't due again for 300 - 400 hrs. Unless you are really putting the hrs on it the engine oil in most cases should be done at least once per year.

I guess it's a little late but welcome to OTT.

I am at 106.7 hr and I am following the schedule laid out in the Operator's Manual for the L2800 which calls for, among other things, greasing, changing the oil, cleaning the fuel filter.

I hate to admit it but there was another zerk but not where I suspected it. There appears to be a cylinder running from the break pedal mechanism over to the clutch mechanism. ( I need to get a break down, an exploded view, of the parts for this tractor so I can learn the terms.) At the clutch and break ends there are zerks but there was also one in the middle covered by just enough dirt and grease that I didn't recognize it. I discovered it because I am changing the oil tonight. When pumping grease into this zerk sure enough grease discharged at each end but the opposite sides from where the grease discharges when using the other zerks. Given my experience with my G1900s, I figured each pedal would require only one zerk.

I hope this is not too wordy and thanks for your interest.

I thought you meant you were doing another 50hr service. It won't take long you'll be a old pro at this stuff. Until then you've got OTT to fall back on for support.
