Usually additional rear hydraulic outputs. They may come with none standard, or they may come with only one or two. To run top and tilt cylinders you need two, to run a hydraulic wood splitter you need a constant flow output (often not standard).

It's for a Backhoe. It shows the option for the first and second remotes, but it also showed the hydraulic output.
Its also perfect for a 3pt logsplitter or anything else that has its own open center control valve and needs a constant flow. It's for a Backhoe.
No real reason it'd be a problem. That's pretty much what a remote with a detent does - it clicks open and stays there (and I'm about to get one of them on my MX specifically to run a log splitter, so it better not be a problem!!)We used to run a wood splitter with regular remotes. Just bungeed the lever ahead. But this was on a 1970’s jd. Might not be good for a kubota?
You probably know this but there are Spring Center valves (SC), Self Cancelling Detent valves (SCD) and Float Detent valves (FD). I have one SCD and two FD in the M6060, and two SCV and one FD in the MX.No real reason it'd be a problem. An FD valve isn't going to help much since there's no pressure to use when locked in float mode. I don't know if an SCD valve would stay locked when the log splitter ram dead heads, and an SC valve would need to be held in position.Don't know to be honest. I think it's maybe a float detent, but I'd have to look at the order. I did tell them I wanted to run a log splitter from it.
The MX open station tractors can run the BH92 backhoe so I would think that they're set up for power beyond. Running a log splitter off that circuit might be the way to go.I can't be the first person they've ever met who wants to run a log splitter off an MX. So will be interesting to see what they provide.
