Interesting upgrade. Could you give some insight as to why you wanted / needed the lights on top of the cab?

I just wanted some extra warning lights in addition to the 4 way flashers for on road use. It is a fairly common addition in my area. Lots of tractors seem to have some form of beacon them.

I'll be using this idea for mine. That way I can leave the light on during the winter snow clearing and remove it for the rest.

That’s a great upgrade if you ever run it on the road.

I used these small LED's on the last two tractors. They have several different flash patterns that are selected via a button beside the switch in the cab. They "remember" the last setting, so I intentionally did the original setup so the rear/sides front are out of sync with each other. I run about a mile into town to do the church parking lots, then another mile and a half to do the parking lots at the gun club. At night they light up the houses along the road and light up reflective road signs at a long distance.
