I had actually made up my mind on a new L3200. But I just so happen to run into a 6 month old Grand L3240, 17 hours, equipped the same as the new one I got quoted and also includes 5' landpride cutter and 5 foot boxblade. All for the same price of the other without the Implements.

I know the 3240 is alot more tractor. From what I read its a darn good one too. Anything good or bad anyone can say about them?

How about this onboard diagnostic system. Can an Owner with full factory service manual (not owners manual) work on this thing if it starts kicking codes? Dealers dont work on my stuff, I do.

yes! of course you can work on it if you have a factory service manual! ( I doubt you ever will have to though! LOL ) No need for a laptop or any other newfangled thing with a grand "L" Definitely get the grand "L" if it's the same price, it is a LOT more tractor!

I've had an L3400 and now have the L3240. The Grand L is much more tractor.
It is heavier, has a bigger foot print, more ground clearance, easier to attach implements with the telescopic lift arms and ability to spread lift arms wider by simply removing a pin, tool box, operator platform, high back seat and it raises implements much higher than the L3400. Like eserv said, it is much more tractor. Go take a test drive if you haven't already. You will quickly "feel" the difference.

Thanks for the feedback guys, and all good things I wanted to hear. I have not read anything bad about that model, but wanted to ask prior to taking a drive to check it out. Ive demo'd the L3200 and the L3800, but due to the price increase did not even consider the grand....As Ive found this 6 month old one at a great price for about the same price as what I'm looking at I figure why not look a bit closer.
