Grader Box upgrade

I built this rack to attach the ripper teeth to. Using a trailer jack to crank up and down. This is on my B7100 just to move it in and out of the garage. It's used on a L2850.

I was thinking the same thing. That's gotta be 5'... Nice though, I like it.

Just noticed. I see it does say 6 on there.

It's a 6 ft box and is normally on my L2850. I was just using the 7100 to move it around.

That's a great idea, I will second the previous comment to patent it.

The only potential drawback I see is that changing the depth will also change the angle of the shanks. May not be enough to matter but, I would want the ripper shanks vertical at my most often used depth.

Even if it is a completely independent invention, it is probably too similar to previous designs to patent.

The trailer jack is mounted to a 2x2 piece of steel. That has been drilled and mounts to the grader box with a pin (Visible in photo) that allows it to arc as it is raised and lowered.
The shanks of the teeth raise up and down through the manufactures' slots.
I don't have the extra hydraulics on all my old stuff so I went with the jack.
