As Ted Nugent would so eloquently say……”Whack’em and stack’em” my friends. (y)

Last week my wife unfortunately "filled her tag” using the mini-van.

Man….3 deer strikes in 4 years is getting ridiculous…...

The important part is that she has not been hurt.

The guy that stopped to help her said it was an 8 point, but that is of little consolation.

So my SIL “knows a guy” that deals in used parts at very ‘reasonable prices”, so I spent my weekend in the garage.

It’s kind of funny how all that damage boils down to just a few bolts.

Oh, and what F’ing job would not be complete until I F’ing knocked the damn windshield washer pump out of place, and spilled an entire gallon of solvent on the floor!!!!!!

She has nearly 1/4 of a million miles on her, and “the guy” did not have a used bumper, so its time for a “combat repair”

That really sucks, but good job on getting humpty dumpty back together again! (y)

This is why I like to have big, strong, frame mounted bumpers on my vehicles. I've yet to hit a deer, elk, moose or bear up here in Big Sky country, although a buck did run into the side of my F-250 a few years ago which cost me $2k in repairs. Overall I've been lucky, but something strong up front can mean the difference between spending the night on the side of the road or making it home.

The bottom photo is not my truck but I do have the bumper shown but haven't installed it yet. Another job for the spring.

Ouch. That sux. Looks like a lot of work RWS. Not to add any salt to the wound but man, that rotor in pic #5 looks like sh!t. lol.

My wife punched her tag last year day before thanksgiving. I added some "bling" as a reminder for the insurance adjuster. lol

PS...big Fan of Ted here. Saw him in concert circa 1980. He cam out on stage swinging from a tarzan rope wearing a loincloth. LOL
