Hi folks. I've just bought a 2000 L3000DT, which was at a great price, with 7 implements, but no loader! I assumed I was going to add a loader for 3k or so, but got a shock when local dealer quoted me 6k before tax and without labour! That's almost as much as I paid for the tractor. So, I'm cruising the internet for used ones, or ones that have been sitting on a skid in a warehouse for a while. I have a line on one from other side of the country, but wanted to expand my search a bit. So, if you have a L3000DT, with an aftermarket loader, I'd like to hear from you about what make/model you have. At present, my search includes Allied 295, Westendorf TA-111, Stoll FC 350, Bush Hog 2045(?). Any others? Any advice (besides do your homework BEFORE you buy tractor, dummy). Thanks, Jim

Jim, welcome to OTT. Loaders are a hot comodity- I doubt that you will run across one, covered in dust, still strapped to a pallet...
www.coldwatertractors.com is a place to look- they build loaders, and their prices are very reasonable. I don't have one, so I can't speak firsthand, but I have read good things about them.

I would check with another dealer. The loader on my 3000 didn't cost but $3500 installed. My dealer quoted a Kubota loader for my M9000 installed for $6000. Sounds like your dealer is trying to make their entire payrole from just you on a single purchase.
