Recently changed the alternator on my ZD326s and notice my glow plug light is on continuously while operating. May not be connected to the recent alternator repair but what’s up with the glowing glow plug light?

The only schematic I have available, on KubotaBooks, is for the ZD326 so it may not be correct for your machine.

But, if it's correct, your plugs only glow when in the glow position and when cranking. No timer/controller. If your indicator is on, the plugs are on, this could well have caused your battery to discharge. If it continues, you'll burn out your plugs, if you haven't already.

With the engine running, check for voltage on the glow plugs. If there is voltage, disconnect the plugs to prevent burning them out. Disconnect the wire on the ignition switch and check for voltage in the run position on the glow plug terminal. If voltage is present, replace the ignition switch.

Still troubleshooting and have the right side controls, tore apart been watching the glow plug sporadically go on and off and now the fuel light is the one on and the glow plug light is off. It has jumped to the fuel light. Any ideas other than there may be a short somewhere. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

If this only just-began with that alternator-repair…. THAT is where your investigation should focus.
