Been wanting one, need a third function but no dedicated kits for the Kubota L45. On the phone with Summit in AZ and we think we can make a kit they have for other Kubotas work. I just need to find my PB, power beyond, port.
Found it, 12 O clock 90 degree line going to the right. That line goes to the 3rd function. Return is the brass fitting behind it IMG_3329.jpeg
Have to find a spot to mount third function valve. Hoses coming up are from/to PB. I'll just weld the bracket on.

That is a rewarding project to determine what yo want, find it, and install it. It will be useful beyond your imagination.

One suggestion, figure out a way to keep your hoses from getting pinched. Also be sure your locking pins can release when in a brush pile. He's what I did.

The bracket holding the spring extension was a piece of cut to fit at the bottom and then welded a quick disconnect to it. The other side of the quick disconnect is on the rod. I can simply unplug the disconnect and leave the long piece on the grapple hose when removed.

Drilled a 1/4" hole in the end of each arm and use a stiff bungee grapple hose 003.jpg grapple hose 005.jpg cord to keep levers down.

Those are good points. My levers are protected the way the grapple is constructed. But the hoses need some work, especially on the tree puller. I thought I could use a hose tamer from a bat wing mower, but I haven't figured out a way how. May end up using a spring or bungee strap.

I would eliminate all brass fittings in the system, they are not suitable for the pressure (as far as I know). They could be used on the lower pressure tank return lines but I personally don’t do that since there is little cost benefit in costs for the actual pressure rated fittings vs the brass fittings.
