I need some help on my G5200. The bearing that sits in the front axle behind the PTO pulley is bad and is stuck. I've removed all c-clips and driven the pto spindle out. I've tried everything to get it out to no avail. I removed the 4 bolts that hold the support around the bearing (070 in pic) but it won't move. Does part number 070 (66091-25040) have to come out before the bearing?

After reading that, I immediately ordered a case of PJ-1.
I just checked the front axle pivot in my G1800 a couple of days. Loose, took grease readily.
This is one of those Kubota 'gotcha' engineering deficiencies. [That last word might be too harsh.]

I've got this old G1900 Kubota that I've had for a number of years now. Love the mower. I keep it maintained religiously-including greasing ALL of the fittings (even the one on the front axle pivot and the drive shaft and brake pedal). Got it in the shop today for it's winter maintenance...
