My Mom's G1800. The "aux pump" on top of the transmission leaks. The rear seal is allowing fluid to weep past and it covers the top of the transmission with dirt/fluid. Kubota wants $46.00 for the seal and messick wants $15 to ship it (a seal the size of a half dollar). Anyone know of a cross reference? I can't see any numbers on the seal itself and I haven't pulled it yet to measure it.

Second question. Same mower, the lift cylinder leaks a little bit. $1400 from Kubota, they don't show any parts available for it. Is there any other option? Because mom's definitely NOT going to put $1400 into this thing, that's more than the mower is worth. She really doesn't need a mower built like this anyway but I can't get her to try a zero turn or I'd give her my zg127 and pick up something else.

There is other issues with it as well but I think I have those all figured out, all minor. Last year I had to rebuild the engine and that cost less than that lift cylinder....

I think if you pull the seal, take it to a NAPA store and, I bet they could match it up. Or before that, a couple drops of brake fluid on the seal lip will allow it to swell...only a couple drops

if you call and ask the parts tech on the phone to ship it US Postal, they will. By default we assume you want things quickly and use a 2-day Fedex service.
