I have a B7100. I use it regularly to mow my 3 acre lawn. Last year I was able to pick up a 40" brush mower to manage my small pasture.i recently hooked it up and mowed for a bit out in the field.
After about a half hour I put it in the barn. After shutting it down I heard a steady bubbling noise under the center of the tractor. I thought it sounded as if it were coming from the hydrostat trans.
I thought, oh no! I overheated it somehow!
Strange. The tractor had no problems going through the grass.
To be safe I later blew out the radiator and trans cooler. Then I heard the noise again. Off and on.

I started poking around and when I opened the little tool box under the fuel tank, guess what? Bumble bees! The box was full of nesting material from something, probably mice, and it was now full of bees! Ha ha! So glad I didn't get out in the middle of the field and have them get really upset and take it out on me!

Sometimes noises that seem to be a mechanical problem are not!!:D

Good that you figured it out and not buzzed too bad.

Bumble Bees? What a bunch of tools!

Funny side note. when I bought my B7100, the previous owner (for 11 years) delivered it to me. As I inspected it, I opened the tool box and found a box end/open end metric wrench set, pliers, dikes, two screwdrivers, and some fuses.
He jumped back and asked "What the hell is that?"
I told him that it was a tool box, and asked "Didn't you read the manual?"
He said no, and then speculated about what else he didn't know about. Turned out there was a lot.
