Anyone out there mounted a tank on skids? Like a 4x4 for easy picking with forks.

Quite a few years ago now I made a steel dolly for my generator and another for my 106 gallon fuel tank, but realized that a pallet works better for the fuel storage tank so I made one out of some material I had laying around. The tank has a provision for pallet forks but I'd rather not run the risk of puncturing or cutting the tank. A piece of grit or a small stone could do a lot of damage if it's trapped between the polypropylene tank and the tine. It's a small risk but I'd rather store the tank off the ground anyway so a pallet works for me.Anyone out there mounted a tank on skids? Like a 4x4 for easy picking with forks.
