Fuel transfer tank

Quite a few years ago now I made a steel dolly for my generator and another for my 106 gallon fuel tank, but realized that a pallet works better for the fuel storage tank so I made one out of some material I had laying around. The tank has a provision for pallet forks but I'd rather not run the risk of puncturing or cutting the tank. A piece of grit or a small stone could do a lot of damage if it's trapped between the polypropylene tank and the tine. It's a small risk but I'd rather store the tank off the ground anyway so a pallet works for me.
Also, when loading or unloading, with a pallet I'm not so concerned about the tines not passing all the way out the front and beyond the tank. Sometimes you can't get close enough to where you want to put the fuel tank, tailgates don't help with this, so you're forced to pick up the pallet with the ends of the forks somewhere near the middle of the load. Not a big deal oftentimes, but possibly a bigger problem with a polypropylene tank.

Yes, I made a skid for my transfer tank to allow me to load the tank in the back of my truck to get it filled. Not the best picture, but you get the idea.
